About our founder
Jenni Tarma, founder of Kaari, is an ERYT500 yoga teacher trained in anatomy, physiology and biomechanics, a Yoga Medicine Therapeutic Specialist, RRCA Endurance Coach, and a CrossFit L1 trainer and athlete. She has worked with countless athletes and active folks to improve performance, boost recovery, rehab and prevent injury, and generally help clients move and feel better. As a lifelong athlete, she's also dealt with her own fair share of injuries, and understands first hand how frustrating it is to feel limited in your performance!
Aside from her extensive experience working with athletes, Jenni also provides continuing education resources for other teachers. She is a lead teacher in the Carolina Yoga Company teacher training program, and a senior instructor at Yoga Medicine, where she contributes to the 500hr program and has created multiple continuing education courses.
Jenni is an enthusiastic writer whose articles have been featured in outlets such as Yoga Journal, Healthline, Reebok, OpenFit, Weight Watchers, Thrive Global, and Yoga Medicine®’s online forum among others. She has also written an e-book on hamstring tendon injuries.
